Get your running shoes ready! The Kennesaw Grand Prix Series kicks off with the Fit City 5K on Friday, April 26, 2025 — part of Kennesaw’s initiative to promote health, fitness, and community engagement.
This professionally timed, USAT&F Certified 5K course is flat, fast, and Peachtree Road Race qualifier eligible. Whether you're a seasoned runner chasing a PR or just looking for a fun, family-friendly event, this race has something for everyone!
📍 Start Location: Kennesaw First Baptist Church
🏁 Course: Heads north on Main Street, through Swift-Cantrell Park, finishing in historic downtown Kennesaw
🎉 Post-race: Awards ceremony and celebration at the finish line!
🗓️ Race Day Schedule:
- 6:30 AM – Packet Pickup & Day-of Registration Opens
- 7:30 AM – 1 Mile Fun Run Start
- 8:00 AM – 5K Start
- 8:55 AM – Tot Trot
- 9:15 AM – Awards Ceremony
